The Commitments?

The Snapper?

The Van?

Which one is your favourite?

Nod to Squirter1982.

Dublin West

The commitments is my fave as I can identify with it as I was about the same age as the characters when it was released and the music is great in it.

The snapper is great for the one liners and the van just brings me back to the days when Irish football was actually something to be happy about.

Have them all on dvd and watch them often.

The Family. It wasn't funny. It was dark and dealt with some serious issues. It was a four part series. Each episode was seen through the eyes of a character. Father, mother, daughter & son.

It was a join production between RTE & BBC and shot in Ballymun. This is also available on DVD

3 Dublin classics.

The Snapper would be mine, followed by The Commitments then The Van.

Saw this...quite harrowing to watch at times. Charlo (Sean McGinley) played a brilliant part in it though.
