think a meet and greet is a great way to start the year so to speak a great way to meet with old friends and make new ones and of course put faces to names. Hopefully this will be the start of a new side to things in our corner of fab world, pheraps becoming a regular thing every few months. That being said putting these things together can be a difficult job so well done Coantrim for ''taking it by the horns'' hopefully there are a few other people on the site who will help to make meet and greets a continuing part of the fab scene here I know i will do all I can to help if possible

so come on peeps join in, help out if you can, lets get social

thxs art for ur lovely comments and i agree meet and greet are a great way to meet ppl and put names to faces ... hopefully this works and ppl will see that this can be a gd thing, and if sucssesful it cud be done every few months

Actually it was the Sunday Trash not the life. It seems that swingers are easy targets for the press because for a swinger to take them on in the courts would cost a lot of money and my view is why throw good money trying to sue a trashy newspaper anyway. Let them have their say/giggle/titillation they'll soon get over it.

As for the welly boot well to be honest the press can't just turn up and assume that everybody in it is a swinger so they normally try and target somebody that they have info about.

I agree and thats the problem with face pics on peoples profiles. Even when you send them privately if you don't know the person. But most (not all) swingers stories in the press are either about a female or couples. Now and again it's a guy but more so they target females and couples. Yet it's hard to believe that some members of the press are actually swingers or at least I bet they are LOL

As already said. The press don't just turn up at events on the off chance that people are up to no good

Sky was also targeted. The press were informed as to who she was and where she would be. She was the news story. Not everyone else who was at the birthday party

The truth is SEX SELLS and while they are saying in their so called exclusives about swingers that they are seedy, this that and the other the newspaper is just as bad for using swingers stories to sell papers. Take the sunday trash for instance, look at the page before the sport there is always a page full of adverts for sex lines. And here is the ironic thing (and I think they think it's funny) most weeks not all weeks they try to get the page with all the sex lines on page 69

Thanks every1 4 there help on the Meet and Greet....will have 2 say 4 every1 who wants 2 go theres another1 saying no dont hold it papers will turn up......TBH i think thats rubbish...and unless we all turn up wearing FABSWINGERS t-shirts.or have an orgy over table..the group meet can be anything...works do..birthday party so-on....lots off intrest in meet.....and every1 who is going the date off meet is same but venue is moved...all intrest will get a PM from us.......come on guys its only going 2 be a nite out and a drink.......and remember if any1 ask r u a swinger...SAY NO!!!!!!

Everytime you hold any kind of swingers event you will always get the spoilers who say the press are going to be there. Goes to show you how sad some people are, if I was running it I would tell them sure I have invited a BBC camera crew as well. Some people you will never be able to please in a million years. They will always do the typical the press are going to be there story most likely they are the ones who have told the press in the first place lol
