So I'm expecting abuse over this post but I still have to post it. I'm married yes and I'm looking to be unfaithful that's something I have to deal with. Since joining fab I found it difficult to chat and to be honest it should be! There must be 50 guys to each girl.

Messages getting deleted helps, genuinely I then know the person is not interested. Tip if you don't want to chat delete or if you do reply. I don't do the cut and paste thing I take time to create a message but that's the way it should be. I'm not only on fab I'm on a couple of other sites too, as are most people on here.

So what's my point? Well I've got talking to a number of people, some in the same situation as me, some single but looking to meet. I've arranged 7 meets in the last three days all of which I've made arrangements and each time been let down. It's very frustrating but I'm not the only one on here with that issue I know.

This site was set up as a swinging site and for most couples that's what it is and good luck and I wish you all well! I joined for something different. I joined to meet women and maybe couples when I got my confidence up, but primarily women and hopefully in the same situation as me.

I'm not going to hide what I am or what I'm looking for and didn't expect people to come flocking to me wanting to sleep with me. But common curiosity seems in short supply not only on fab but the other sites too.

Not looking advice on how to meet on fab just letting off some steam as I'm sitting in another coffee shop alone lol

P.s. It looks as I'm verified but someone who I never met verified me and I've reported it to admin and it's still on my profile wtf???

Are you taking this personally because your married?... The ratio of men and women is not equal as you have stated, alot of women will not meet attached men and that's is there choice as it's your choice to advertise the fact that your are married. And yes some members choose to lie about there relationship status too.

personally your not the only one who is finding it hard to meet like minded people.And as for your veri that was sent and you know nothing about this is the weird and wonderful world of fab.

It is good to let off steam, many do on the same subject here on this forum, and I hope that you are not subjected to the usual bash a whinger brigade...

It honestly takes time for any newbie to make contacts, build up a rapport with others and eventual meets...

Look, it is easier for women married or singles , as the ratio for men/women falls in the male camp..

I applaud your honesty, at least by declaring on your profile that you are married, you are giving potential playmates the knowledge that yes you are attached...

My advice, keep going , send out mails , work on your profile ect...

There are lots of women here who do meet married men as do couples...

No! It's not personal it's a reflection of my experience on fab. As I said I'm not expecting people to flock to meet me but if someone does (7) then they show some curtesy. The time I've been here isn't an issue. And I think the guys on here should have to work hard to impress someone. It seems to me as in life the idiots wreck it, as in guys who mess about. And yes it is a weird and wonderful site lol

Also spotted the typos in my post I'll blame the iPhone autocorrect lol

Dude I feel your pain! But 7 meets and 7 let downs in 2 weeks I mean common it would take me the good of 3 weeks to chase a meet so you make the maths , maybe you need to sauce your meets better before you meet, improve your scenario so its note appealing because many women because they can pick and choose and they are right to do so wont meet if its a quicky car ride or anything else along this kind of nature! Remember even if men out numbered women you can also pick and choose so be wiser who you pick next time ... Good luck be a mana quit whining

Regardless of whether you are male, female or a couple if you have been stood-up after an agreement to meet then that is rotten.

However as a single male you should assess your chances oF success more realistically. Did you really expect those seven meets to be real? Fabs Ireland probably has about seven meets a day actually arranged on it. One suspects the profiles you were meeting were a tad suspect.

There are very few routes to success for single males on fabs and 'another white guy mailing' isnt really one of them. Once in a blue moon but wed guess its a lot of fustration for very little return.

1) be BBC

2) be Mens Health level fit

3) go to meet n greets / parties

If none of these then

4) be prepared for an exercise in futility.

I had meets lined up straight away when I first joined fab. I've found if you just be yourself on here, meets are easy enough to come by

Or...just be yourself and have patience....never fall into the trap of comprimising yourself on here...but dont rely on fab for your sex life either...try other avenues and take this place for what it us...

To develop my thoughts, what I am saying is that Fab was designed to be a swing site and guys like me have come on here and are using it as a casual hook up site, if it is for swing only then admin need to somehow make it that, design a causal hook up fab or something. If it is to remain a bastardised version of what it is now then people who join might like to hear what a person new to the site thinks.

As for man up, thanks I’m good as I am not looking to be cheeky but as I should have made clear this is my observations. Three of the proposed meets where with verified accounts two where from other sites and the other two were with newbies like me. But I shouldn’t have to explain this should I? Sure it’s only fun, I was well out of pocket (that’s not the issue). I hope that newbie read this in the manner it was intended.

Well firstly you have X amount of females/couples here.. from that you then have to deduct those not looking for guys in your Age range.

Then deduct those that aren't real.

From that deduct those that won't meet married guys.

From that deduct those that Won't meet Smokers... or are Smokers and you don't meet smokers.

etc etc..

There are few enough genuine females/couples here to start with and by time you cut all the above out then you have very few profiles left that match.

Then Location comes into account, reducing your "available pool"..

and from there one just has to get on with things. In meantime enjoy, have a laugh, banter etc on Forums and enjoy.

Males/Female/Couples get messed around.. that's life, that's FAB and any other sites are same.

We think females/couples have things handy on FAB, Yes they have the choice but also have to put up with a lot of abuse/crap. For them they just have to put up with that and accept 'that's FAB'. Some leave because of the abuse/crap otherwise there would be more of them.

FAB is what it is... just enjoy it!

Keep at it. .and keep up the positive attitude.everyone gets canceled/stood up etc. .It happens to us all. Just get in the forums. .chat to people...keep being honest about your situation ,not everyone objects to meeting someone who is not single. It takes time and patience but there are some amazing people on here op..

Just like folks everywhere. Takes all sorts. Life would be dull otherwise. You will always have wasters, complainers, positive, negative. Just take it for what it is, and don't take anything personally. Give it time cos u will meet like minded fabbers
