Just wondering if you had a crap meet with someone would you be honest in your veri as in ,that was a waste of time won't be going there again , or is that not pc ?

People just wouldn't display it tbh.....I would never be offensive in a verification but i think its about being honest without being hurtful.maybe it's what isn't said that says more.if you're not sure about someone pm a person who verified them and ask them what they think, I would and I wouldn't have a problem with anyone doing that .

Just would love to be honest with people , we had a guy on lately shown a veri from someone we know , the veri was a glowing report , the messages before hand would make a porn star feel inadequate , petty this wasn't the case .

i would prob just stick to verifying that they are the person you see in the pictures and not mention any details of how the meet went.....if significantly different though id just not bother verifying.

If the meet was a complete letdown, I wouldn't write a verification.. And if asked why, I'd be honest with the person I met - explain in a pm..

If the meet was less than expected and only OKish I would be diplomatic.. What I might consider one thing might be another for the next person. Be truthful, no point in pretending, but be kind.. That's my motto anyway.

And if I see a verification from someone I know and it's rather short.. Then I can put one and one together..

Ive had awful meets of coffees where they asked if I'd write a veri and I said the only good thing I could write was that they showed up.. Harsh but if I wrote that everyone would know it was awful.., the bad experience could have just be between us and could be much better for them with someone else.

Coffee/social meet verifications are pointless, it only proves the person exists.

There are bad verifications, the bog standard ones.

It's all about reading between the lines and spotting what's missing.

By the end of the day always keep in mind what's good for one might not be good for another.

The crap meets are usually obvious from the 'treat her with respect', 'bring your A game', 'one of fabs true gems' and so on type fillers. Ie, they have nothing to say so just resort to cliches.

Up to a point they do... We've all seen guys in their 20's post asking how to change their age to 30 or something, so they can "manoeuvre " their way around Filters and proves they are what they say they are.

That said, couples/females are not here to use up their time meeting guys who might turn up, might be what they say they are etc!

Because idiots can't keep their hands above the table, can't just meet for a coffee etc guys can't even get coffee meets.

Then guys post looking for coffee meets, can't get them because idiots have stuffed that up too.

Whose fault is it? The females or couples of course!! Ehhh... No!

See the problem I have with this post is idiotic guys only fuck it up for themselves not all single men on here. If it were the case that all were tarred with the same brush no single man on fab would get a meet on here.

I don't believe in some fuck it up for others. It's what you make of it here. Beside that coffee meets are not for everyone. I don't do coffee meets. I had one meet that went wrong and resulted in no verification and it was because I didn't do my home work properly.

I've had a few bad meets.. We would meet and get on great but when it came to the sex it wasn't good.

So I'd verify them as genuine and a nice person.

As someone had already said .. Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean someone else won't like it.

I don't like been left verifications thou .. I don't display them and I hate leaving them too lol

No , I would simply not verify and if they asked why via private mail ect would be honest and explain why...

Meets go wrong for any number of reasons, perhaps the fault lay with myself...

I also do not personaly take heed of verifications here, prefering to judge on my own gut instincts...

After meeting the person or people for a coffee or drink, if the subsequent meet is a flop, then no big deal, plenty more to choose from..

I agree with most posts here. If a meet is bad, I won't leave a verif. Il be honest in the verifs that I do leave. When I'm looking at verifs, I'd like to think I can read between the lines too so if I'm in any doubt I will contact the person whose left a verif, ppl are very good & honest in private & I always just ask as I'm a single gal so it's for safety reasons.

Meh here's one for you. I've been the cause of a crap meet because I didn't even bring my Z game.this wasn't my first meet and the first time was a cracking evenings fun. I didn't expect a verification the second time but because I was friendly with these peole on a somewhat personal level I still got a veri for effort at least . Very few who will admit to having an off day but feck it. None of us are super hero's or porn stars no matter how hard we try convince others.

I verify people on what they did right and don't bullshit about or mention the rest. It's a learning curve for most of us
