Anyone else get irked by the line "treat xxxx with respect"

I find it so condescending, of course normal people will approach a meet with boundaries and respect in mind. If someone has to take their lead from a Veri, in relation to respecting an individual or couple, then they are fucked anyway.

Just my (Mr K) opinion..for its tuppence worth...

Respect = treat people the way you want to be treated.

You shouldnt need veri for that. I agree its terrible also if the person that is going on the veri actually has a chat with the person then they will know very quickly what kind of person they are. Maybe im off topic a little. Correct me if im wrong op

I read it in verifications. I never thought too much about it. I viewed it as one of those things people put in verifications that don't really mean anything. People see it in other people's so put it in when they do one.

As others have stated its a veri filler. In our opinions respect is part and parcel of the scene. Doesn't need to be said to treat others with it.

Honour and privilege? Really?

For starters this makes the verifier come across as seeing themselves as being lesser than the profile they are verifying.
