Hi guys,

just wondering what your take on this would be.

We were contacted by the female half of a couple over the holidays, asking us would we like to meet. She is over in Cork (alone) for 2 weeks so we accepted as friend and everything looked quite legit, besides only one verification (unpublished) by cam.

We asked to skype so everyone could establish everyone was real and sexy. No problem there, she said she'd be happy to. When it came to arranging a time, she read message, didn't reply and hasn't returned to site since.

Are we over thinking things here, i.e. pichunter, challenged to prove real and goes incommunicado or maybe there's an innocent reason behind not responding? Suppose we're bearing in mind she's due to fly out soon and if she was as interested as all her mails suggest, she'd be on top of this (or us )

Just been burned on Fab like this in the past so twice shy....

Better to get burned on a Skype session than after you get all dolled up (and clean the house) just to get a last minute text, or worse, nothing at all!

Probably a guy. I seriously don't understand why guys would do this. Seems like such a waste of their time, not to mention yours. Don't worry, plenty more women out there.

All you can do is wait. But I'd start looking elsewhere whilst waiting...

I think what probably happened here was that you were talking to a complete unverified stranger on the Internet and then they stopped talking to you.

You're an adult, you'll get over it.

Went from facepics, to whatsapp, to kik....reading back think we were a bit naive not to see spot this, but I guess there is a learning in everything!

It's frustrating for anyone to experience this but doubly so when our work commitments only allow us certain times to meet, and we had set aside time to meet this weekend

Perhaps she got cold feet.

Perhaps she felt overwhelmedcby how quuckly it all moving.

Perhaps she simply lost interest, it does happen.

1 hidden verie isn't worth the paper its written on

They should show it to you when asked. If they don't I'd say fake for sure. If they do I'd still be wary

Don't take this the wrong way because its meant in the nicest way possible. Live and learn and don't worry about it. Take this as a lesson and move on with your fab activities. Dwelling on it shall get you both nowhere. Happy fabbing
