Car insurance jumped up by 313 euro

8 yrs clean license

Feeling let down by the companies tbh

3 years ago same thing but very hard to get anywhere near my quote last year.

Car is 16 years old

Think two or three insurance companies now won't insure cars over 15 years old. That means that your company has Less need to compete anymore which is why your premium has gone up.

Why not ring back name change same model car and see if it matches quote

Then try again right name with a 2/3 year old car and compare

Hate being ripped off

its a scam. just like the nct the motor trade want people to buy newer cars they thought the nct would make peoplecchange cars every few years that didn't happen not the insurance companies won't quote or quote silly money for cars over 12 years old. when I lived in wales I could insure two cars including a modified subaru for less than I pay for a mondeo its a joke.

My insurance has gone up by 40% when I question them. They said it was over flood damage money they paid out. It's car insurance not house insurance.

It's been all over the papers recently about how insurance quotes are on the rise. All you can do is ring around and see if you can get better elsewhere.

I was surprised to see all the cars left in floods or driven into floods recently, despite all the warnings....they weren't exactly flash floods... Wondered were some 'insurance jobs'.....we all end up paying...
