Sore throat/flu

Anyone have any good remedies to fix a sore throat or flu? Dying of one right now, worst time of year for it!

I'd swear by hot whiskeys, but it's just an excuse to drink whiskey

Try drinking boiled water with lemon juice honey and grated ginger! Always does the trick for me!

Regular garggle with mouth wash....tea with sugar into bed if realy bad

My dads recipe; o e hot whiskey with a lemsip added. Tastes vile (I hate whiskey) but usually does the trick

Manuka honey applied directly to the sore throat or Strepsils.

Flu? A little ibruprofen in between paracetamol doses might alleviate any muscle tension.

Hot whisky all the way... doctors orders!

I would recommend keeping a close eye on your throat though, I thought I just had a run of the mill sore throat there a few weeks ago and ended up very sick with strep throat

Gargle with salt in warm water.

That might help.

Boiled lemonade with lemsip for aches and pains.

Gargling with salt water after cleaning your tongue. People forget to do this regularly. It helps alot. hopefully you won't gag too much cleaning it.

And if using a hot drink with lemon, honey and ginger, try to make it fresh lemon and ginger.

And try to use sea salt as opposed to normal table salt.
