Totally agree,people tend to forget that this time of year is for giving. And not to just loved ones but those less fortunate than ourselves.

Nice sentiment, especially at this time of year when those that have far outnumber those that have not. Better still, give directly to the charities specifically targeting the homeless and vulnerable. The folk out on the street ain't necessarily homeless - it's sad but true.

Was just going to say I'll buy a homeless person a sandwich or cuppa but I never give them money. You just don't know what it's for or where it's going unfortunately. Happily donate to charities though.
