A user name is definitely something I judge someone on. I went through many options before selecting mine as I knew I wanted to get it right and I could introduce myself (in person) using that name and not be embarrassed doing it.

My advice? Develop a very thick skin, don't be in any way sensitive, don't read into anything - a wink or a fab or a comment are more often just that and not an invite to anything more. Keep plugging away - you may very well go from having a lot of activity on your profile one day to zilch for the next month but that's the site.

As single guys on here we are just another number, another profile that may or may not catch someone's attention....... The site may or may not yield what you are hoping for - try not to get frustrated...... Easier said than done, I know!!

Be yourself, be polite at all times and treat the ladies as ladies and fingers crossed it might pay off for you.

In the mean time have a very merry Christmas!!!

Not based on the name alone perhaps but it's possible that it could have a big influence on my decision, depending on the name and how rediculous or ott it was.
