carter his hated then.i wonder are the American guys that sing country also hated.the American country scence had some following more than pop dance and whatever other crap is out there.

Mark my words the irish country scence is picking up big time.its big up in the north and it's slowly coming down the south.its deadly.

We done a lot of promotional & events work for him and his band on their UK tour and EVERY night was a SELL-OUT... The age group watching him and indeed other like him in that music genre is now 70% teenage to mid 30's and then a mix after that....Some very Hot Looking Ladies at all gigs....

Why does he sing with an American accent? If his genre is Irish Country then why not sing with a rural Irish accent?

Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish (who I met and who is really nice and mellow) did a much better version. Even the videos don't compare in the least. The Carter one looks so amateurish.

Even the no name band I seen play this song live in a Nashville bar last year was better than Carter.

I love to see Irish artists do well, but this guy Carter is brutal.

He hails from Liverpool. And I think his music is good. Trucks,cowboys and country music, hot girls and cold beers.
