What a sad documentary but I suppose rugby is in everyone's mind at the moment...

The game is going to change.

Knew a person that died as a result of all the rugby he played, wasn't expecting to see him on the programme

RIP

Its a very sad programme but very well put together.

It's an important issue and needs to have its profile raised to increase awareness. Too many have died to date with this condition so hopefully the pain of kith and kin who helped make this documentary has a positive impact on the controls necessary to prevent further loss.

Anyone who has ever played the game knows it is a contact sport and knows the danger but it is heartbreaking to see men in their prime end up like that

has been a topic of debate in rugby for some time, the huge collisions along with the increased use of steriods to treat 'injuries' an almost constant treatment regime, resulting in players that are beyond the realm of realistic expectation in terms of fitness...

..read a few stats, not sure how true no...but apparently at any time in the premiership rugby last year at least 30% of all first team players were injured...thats a huge amount.

..think your right..things will have to change...if only so we dont see an increase of images like this tonight
