Best cheap car for young drivers

I'm a young lad 27 so insurance is going too kill me have a learner permit licence the thing is i want too know what's the best but cheap car too run other than micras sorry just not my type of wheels lol any tips guys cheers oh an tips for insurance company's would be ideal as well

Try a corsa or some small car I did that still wasn't too cheap but I had a ban but if first time any under 1.2 should be cheapish

Get a vintage car. Is it 25 or 30 years to be classified as vintage. But jaaaajus 3 grand at 27 for insurance, I'm outta touch and shocked.

your age isnt the problem its the learners permit. Once you have your full licence it will drop a good bit..

How things have changed. I got my test at 18. By 27 I had a full no claims bonus.

Granted back then the d*unk driving ads said "only two will do "

Yep get a 15 yo toyota and insure it as a classic car. You'll be limited to about 3k miles per year but that should do for getting ye down to the pub and back

You cant do that here u must be the legal owner of the car

Insurance is going to be a pain anyway regardless what you do or who you go with your still going to have to pay!

I remember paying €3000 for my first insurance when I was 17 and the car was only worth about €1000 but it's always going to be tough till you get your full licence regardless of age it's the full licence that matters!
