Wouldn't go if they were in the local car park

Am I about to be linched and shunned now?

Are they touring an album or is it just a "we need a few bob for a Dalkey Christmas" tour?

Nope... Few good tunes but can't abide overblown "stadium rock"....

And I'd gladly slap that pontificating knob Bono from Antrim to Cork ....

Lol they are touring an album and charging a fortune for tickets while preaching about giving. Still, I'd love to go.

They are completely different live. U2 and Bon Jovi are the best live bands in the world. Bono is a knobhead but they still have some great albums. Most people go for the music and turn off when he preaches about saving the world including the other 3 lads in the band.

Aahh. Memories. Brill atmosphere in Dublin beforehand and then fantastic concert in Crokers. Exhilarating. My last one was the weekend poor Lady Di Died. She never got to see or be Queen.

I have seen them 4 times and four times they have p!ayed 2 hours or a bit over

I wouldn't be a fan of Paul McCarthy but wouldn't begrudge anyone going to see him , if it makes them happy let them go to see, doesn't effect me

Once again U2 and bono divide opinions ...I for one am a big fan of U2 can take bone with a pinch of salt as it's there music I'm into...plenty of musicians I don't like because of their beliefs but that doesn't stop me from liking their music or going to see them in concert ..

have been at plenty of U2 gigs where they played for around 2 hours ...have went with people that didn't necessarily like U2 but thought the show was spectacular...

Unfortunately I didn't get tickets but might get lucky closer to concerts or if there's extra ones ...
