The best venue

I understand that an apartment is a more suitable venue to host a party. Different areas to retreat to and maybe the kitchen or hallway to have a chat, have a laugh, meet, catch up or have a refreshment.

However, a hotel room is a great venue also. Certainly for a smaller, more private and intimate groups.

I stay in upmarket, discreet, comfortable hotels quite a lot and had many fun nights.

But I get annoyed leaving the next day if the room did not get used that way.

How do you guys feel about venues?

I will be staying in Cork city again on the 16th and would hate wasting a spacious, comfortable room. LOL

I'm certainly not intending to.

There is a nice bar at the hotel for a private M&G.

Open to suggestions.

that's exactly what will have me leave in bad form in the morning, having wasted a room.

Don't mind sleeping in the middle of the bed with at least one person either side of me.

But usually don't get much sleep that way lol

Agree whole heartedly with your post Ray.

Hate paying for a hotel room that doesn't get used the next morning too
