Movie Golden oldies

So at home bored decided to have a movie night streaming in the epic film Spartacus with kirk douglas and tony curtis great film one of my favourites.

But it should be im Bigglesacus lol.

Anyway anyone else like golden oldies movies whats your favourite?.

yea he worked has a camera man back in the day on films like cromwell,Man for all seasons to used to have a big autograph book with all the stars in it.

Any of the musicals, but especially 7 brides for 7 brothers, singing in the rain, high society.

All time fave oldie has to be The Quiet Man, never tire of it.

Used to also love Bing Crosby & Bob Hope movies, Abbott & Costello movies. Lastly Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis. Bit of a list I know, I was (and still am) a bit of movie freak

And come to think of it, there are apparently quite a few Fabbers who could easily have fitted into their films because " Well , here's another nice mess you've gotten me into " is something that's happened and said a lot

Basil Rathbone....BBC2 afternoons, Harold Lloyd, Laurel & Hardy, ITV had Jeremy Brett but Basil was my favourite too.
