Same. Trimble had an injury but thought last year's 6 Nations would have earned him an opportunity. There's always injuries before the tournament - however not wishing ill on anyone who made the squad.

It's pretty much a Leinster team with a few token outsiders thrown in. A little disappointing.

A few big calls being made by Joe. Hope it goes well for furlong he's a good chap

It still looks like a strong line up despite the obvious ommissions but time will tell.

We will still be the team to beat and the players chosen will undoubtedly play for the pride to wear green!!

Tough call on Trimble especially seeing as earls and Fitzgerald are both injury prone, and in a big game neither are good enough to play at 13,which seems to be the reason they're in

Let's just get behind our team , it's rugby , injuries happen , at least we have some great replacements to call up if needed and they will be match for , World Cup winning squad ,

"if we beat the French, will get to the semi-final at least, "

This is very true. Saying that It will very much depend on what French team turns up too.

They fairly schooled the English two weeks ago.

That was sooo good to watch.

Trimble must be disgusted. I'd have him any day over D Kearney or Zebo

No one else can have too many complaints.....Furlong will be massive if needed

I feel sorry for Trimble, zebo can wreck your head, but got the magic that can win a game in a few minutes, all top team, got a play like that in there squad,

I couldn't agree more but I have fate in joe he must see something in him. And will use him as a second out half and use mad dog in the centre. Personally I'm gutted D'Arcy isn't going

Jackson can be flakey- but there is no one else. Keatley has gone backwards this season and madigan can make wrong calls under pressure. I like madigan - he does liven things up, hope he has a good World Cup.

God Keatley had a terrible season. Went to a fair few Munster games this season and he progressively got worse.

Hopefully he's on better form for the upcoming Season!

I'd doubt it , he is a confidence player. Should have held on to JJ.

Apparently Munster have a great o/h coming through though.

Northampton have gained a star there. Gutted he's gone.

Sorry to see Donnacha heading to Warriors too.

A few bob before he retires. I'd say it's safe to say Munster got the best of him. He will never come up against Munster - O'connell may sometime !!

Can't wait to see O'Connell line out for Toulon.

That said, I'll always shout for Munster.

As a Munster fan I'm disappointed with the travalling squad. Having said that I'm excited for Tagdh Furlong. I know the lad, part of the same rugby club. He is a great role model for our junior members to inspire and motivate them.

Absolutely no issues with Connacht. Delighted to see them doing so well and I go to plenty of their games. Hell, they beat Munster recently.

Understand why Trimble missed out but Earls must be blackmailing Joe!

No panic about these omissions , If lads get injured or cant play smiffy will sideline them and get the other lads on the squad, left out or otherwise.Remember the last world cup final New Zealand drafted in McDonald to fill the no 10 shirt for Carter,he was fishing at the time he got the call, he thought it was a wind up , and hung up , it wasn't until a cab arrived at his home place that he realised, it wasn't, the rest is History. Trimble and Kilcoyne and co will be standing by on call and if required will get called. Unless the call up rules have changed since the last world cup. Come on Ireland and Munster
