Why would facebook suggest I become friends with people we met at parties on here? Where does it get the linking?

Don't get me wrong. We both have good friends we met from here. My bestie Lou for one.

It is odd when you think about it. You can except someone from here into your bed but not into your social life.

Facebook only suggest people as if they in your phonebook contacts

Most people have a play phone for that reason too to not mix the two together.

That explains it. I've 3 fabbers on my facebook. M has 4 or 5 I think. Close friends only.

Can you stop facebook from doing that link or do I need to get a new number for here?

Bakebook are just Cunts, they get into your shit all the time! As for friends. Well, nobody really likes lying but fab is a bit taboo. What are you going to say to a family member, when they ask, who's your mate? Never seen them before, where did you meet? Mmmmm not many would answer that truthfully... Fab is still a dirty secret for the majority I'd say. Hence we keep our lives and the peeps we meet mostly seperate.

If you log in on your phone it'll will read your contacts. Most phones will give an option not to sync your phone with social networking sites.

Never allow sites like Facebook to access your phone contacts, also don't give Facebook your phone number (general settings), it's not needed but of course they suck in all your info if you allow it
