Hate the thing with a passion. It really demeans hard working bands who put in the time and actually build up a following. Don't hate the actual contestants. Just the concept.

Kilkenny, but Dublin is more fun

I dislike it but have better things to do than to complain about it.

Sure, you can say that it's ruining the music industry but i don't believe it is. The music industry has been destroyed by the giant record labels and shows like X factor and the ilk are merely their ideas. Don't blame the people who audition. It's not their fault.

I used to be a fan but not so much any more tbh. It's a bit samey IMO.

It also means the countdown to Christmas has begun . I know I know, I'm washing my mouth out

I hate it.

Wouldn't mind it so much if it was just a few shows, but there's the main show, then the show about the show, then the show about the show about the show. Then these are repeated all bloody week, right up till Xmas.

X factor is the biggest load to horse s*** on tv....it's nothing to do with talent...all the finalists have already been selected by Cowell and his company....then he bluffs the public into believing their vote is helping a wannabe become a star....he is only after ure money...wake up people...

I'd rather have a kidney removed than watch that shite. Talking about shite is Louis Walsh still on it.

I have watched (sat through) it twice about 4 yrs ago. I'd rather be forced to watch a months worth of 'Depression Square' episodes than have to watch 1 more of it. Or you can have both my kidneys instead of watching, because I'd rather be dead

It is aptly named the X factor as contestants talk of exes that treated them bad, relatives that are either dead or sick or being abandoned at birth and raised by others

Probably less about the singing talent and more about who has the best sob story. I hate it and would rather gouge my eyes out with a soup spoon than watch it.

Love it, love it, love it.

Plus it's gone and got some serious eye candy - Nick Grimshaw and Olly!
