Just in the Ireland chatroom there and a number of guys and I were discussing the Taken movies, so thought maybe we could place a thread in here..

Anyone seen any good movies lately or looking forward to seeing any?

Maybe even what is your fave movie of all time?

And I don't mean blue movies

Watched that again recently.

The followup Cidade dos homens isn't as good but still great in its own right.

I've heard good reviews on The man from U.N.C.L.E but Then again I really enjoyed Guy Ritchie... everything but Revolver.... I just re-watched This is England and then I watched the two spin off Tv series in anticipation for the upcoming This is England '90 ..... while I was in a Shane Meadows mood I also watched Dead man shoes, Room for Romeo Brass and Made of stone his stone roses documentary .... That was just Saturday When you work in the industry you can call it research

Watched the Dallas Buyers Club recently, very much overhyped I thought. Good acting but not a standout movie.

Seen "the gift" recently and was so exiteded to see Jason Bateman in a serious role but the film was made for TV, wouldn't waste my time seeing it in the cinema

Hot pursuit was quite funny and I was a bit disappointed in train wreck coz I thought it looked hilarious but it's the same awkward humour throughout and didn't make me laugh out loud

Picked up a copy of the matrix the other day. Great film back in its day. The effects haven't aged well but still kick ass. Pity about the sequels. Old boy is a fave of mine. Original is best but the American remake with josh brolin is good.
