Never found nationality a problem ourselves. If the persons English is poor we find the conversation to a bit stilted but all about chemistry for us

Think he meant on the same wave length. Don't think he meant madness. Think he just proved the language barrier point.

Don't think English, Welsh and Scots are foreigners. Spain. France and wider Europe and elsewhere are foreigners.

I just don't see our nearest neighbours as foreigners. Same language, almost identical culture, way of life and outlooks. And the same time zone.

Just my opinion.

Simple! I mean the mentality of different nationalities, so the local natives easier to communicate than with a foreigner, especially on sensitive topics.

By that logic people from NI are foreigners. Which they are not.

I think to be classed as foreigners there has to be significant differences in stuff like language, customs, traditions and way of life. We are slomst identical in most ways to Scots, Welsh and Brits.

I prefer the continental European men as they tend to look after themselves and take pride in their bodies and how they look. Have only met a small handful of Irish men who do the same.

Any one born on and living on the island of Ireland would be classed as Irish by people the world over. Sure why would we think any different or dare to think or even call them foreign.

Anyone who does not live on this Island or is not from this island is foreign. No matter how alike our country may be to another its still a foreign country with foreign people.

Just like is when we go abroad we become the foreigner

Not many have actually answered the OP's question lol

I don't really care where someone is from. As long as they meet my other preferences! Sure, I'm a foreigner myself!

quite the opposite!

as a non Irish person (rather than as a foreigner ... because I always feel this word has a negative touch to it) I feel there is much more attraction from the person I communicate with.

I am not saying in any way I am exotic (ha! ffs that would really be pushing it) but it certainly works in my favour

would I be interested in engaging with a non Irish national? honestly - I don't care! As long as we have both similar sexual preferences and as long as there is mutual attraction - let the fun begin.

There can be a bit of a problem understanding text written by someone whose first language isn't English, but that can work itself out eventually. The more you communicate with that person, the easier it becomes to understand their writing. It's not a problem for me.
