Hmmmm that's a tough one OP

I think they would be a bigger powerhouse then they are now. I love Metallica but their last couple albums whilst good weren't masterpieces. I'm not including the Lou Reed album cause that was shit!

He wouldn't have allowed them to turn into the low grade country and western band they managed to manifest into!!

P.s. Kaizer dislikes Metallica

Intriguing, what makes you say that? Was he always close to Dave?

Terrible to think that Kirk hammet had chosen not to sleep in the bunk cliff was in when the bus crashed and he had to live with the 'what ifs' for years. That must have been agonising.

It was the largest bunk and they played cards to see who got it. Lady Luck had a wry smile that night.

he co-wrote the best tracks on his imho albums so that but definitely more instrumental tracks and longer tracks without the being repetitive ala outlaw torn

He'd have quit the band by now.

I have a feeling Load and Reload wouldn't have happened, or he might have left.

But then again, we might not have gotten the Black album cos that was basically made of the bands pure hatred of each other.

Then again, I didn't know him personally and I'm not a psychic, so what the feck do I know!

I don't get people who listen to new metallica stuff.

Actually his tastes in music were pretty diverse. They'd have made it with him as he was into less heavy stuff (he was into REM before he died)

So load and reload would have happened. Black album probably. Justice maybe not.
