Have we all moved to Fab? Deserted the others ? I read what is ultimately one of the best Forum Posts ever on another Irish site and loved it. If I where still a member I'd post a comment to the OP commending him " over zealous mod (s) and the remaining post. Thankfully we are lucky here. A great Mod team installed.

What's your thoughts ?

Been on others before...didnt stay.

Fab is way more user friendly, inexpensive to support, waaaay better talent !!!

And loads of straight guys 2 try 2 convert via chatrooms eh s4?

It's ok apart from all the fake single women profiles that are probably gay men or weirdo catfish types.

Useability wise. You can not be serious? The forum is retard, even by 90's standards. It's one of the worst I've even seen. You can't edit your posts, can't upload pics, no users tools to speak of etc, it's basically a guestbook not a forum.

Compared to five years ago there is progress on the forums. Lack of pictures I think is more for discretion purposes ie don't want pictures of other users posted

I joined a well known site back in 2006 and the following year opened an acc here.

No comparison between the two then, the first was fantastic, full of genuine swingers , forums rocked.

Here was pretty quiet, I mostly met N Irish swingers.

Gradualy the first site began a downhill spiral, populated by drama queens and kings, not interested in swinging, who spent their time arguing, forming silly cliques, aided and abetted by mods.

It looks now like the site has died, here the craic is mighty, the mods do not appear to tolerate bullshit and rightly so.

People of all ages, backgrounds, size, shape ect seem to be here for SWINGING, and where once the forums were dull ,they are buzzing daily.

This is exactly what a swinging site should be, well IMO of course.

Think we know the site your talking about. Chat rooms were a free for all and the bitching was insane. The admin didn't give a shit either especially after it went free for so long and they decided to reintroduce payment (arm and a leg cost)

iv been a member of most of the sites I had lifetime membership on two of them but I have to say this one is easily the best one and even though iv had my fair share of forum bans ( most of them totally deserved ill add ) I think the mods here do a great job.

It's not easy to run a busy chatroom of forum, especially if you don't have a lot of experienced mods or can't afford someone to run the site.

Anywhere you get a reasonable amount of people together in one place there are going to be personality clashes. Then you have spammers, trolls and the like from competing websites trying to disrupt your site because it's more popular then theirs.

There is a lot of competition out there these days for any forum or chatroom.

if it's the same site I think it is,it went too the dogs the last year used be a brilliant site but like u said between bitching n all,no proper mods,it all went downhill! fast!

The clue is in the OPs user name

Admin did not care, as long as they got their money.

Plus, admin and the moderators were a group of friends.

Part of the reason so many left, a well known fact, many of the female moderators,had played up to the residing moderators after they joined.

So began the moderator clique, which was notorious!

The place was a disgrace !!!

Moderators should be completley fair, respect all users equaly, it happens here.

Just read the guys poat, fair play to him for having the guts to speak out, interesting reply from their admin team , seems like nothing has changed

I was on two before this one but they went to shite came over to this one after on of the ladys told me about it from the other site.Fab is great i think for meeting people making friends but does as it moments to sometimes.I never regret been a member of fab.

Ah the other place was great up to a year or so back. This place is much more user friendly on a smartphone though. The chat room was better in my opinion.and by that I mean easier to use. Pm's on here wreck my head. Anyhow what really set it apart was the forums. And by that I mean going back 5/6/7 years ago. Everyone was on on their laptops so when a row broke out people used to be writing pages and pages of insane stuff. It was hilarious at times. The amount of amateur psychologists giving their tuppence worth used to give me a right giggle. The thing here is because people are on their phones they usually keep things to the point as it's a pain typing on a phone. So you don't get as much of a picture of how batshit insane some people are.

you wont get better than here i think

what i like about fabs is there are no gimmicks. the site is designed with the user in mind as regards tools for communication and verification

after that....its up to the user how successful they are or not by using these site tools

I agree, nothing has changed. Which will be deprimental to the future of that same site.

My initial post ( or indeed is this response )Is a judgement on how that site is managed, as is not a slur on any of the Admin or Mod Team, but if they get a chance to read this or any of the posts above. Lessons to be learned.

As my initial post was instigated just around general Irish swinging Sites please keep Forum posts in general. That said there's more than one ex Mod from the same said mentioned on here.

Agree. About ten new fake accounts crop up every day. Maybe high coat keeps fakes away? Although a ghost town at times, in less time I got more meets off the other site than here despite way less messages being sent and much less members.

I am on one other site had 2 meets but had a lot more on here very few on it now I drop in now and then but lot of guy talk but do dose not go any where but here there a good few wasters but lot are not

Have been on all the sites at one stage or another and they all have their good and bad points.

Have been a mod on more than one of them and its a thankless job sorting out shite for people and it has to be remembered that mods do it out of their own time and without any reward so fair play to those that do it. I have done my modding days and now im happy to sit and be a standard member without having the hassle of being a mod hanging over me.

There are many things i would change about here if i could but in the whole its down to the people on the site and what they put into it, and what you as a user are prepared to put into it.

Its harder as a male to get a meet here than on the other sites, but i figure there are more time wasters on freebie accounts here which tarnish it for all, but it is what it is and we get on with it.

But the chatroom on mobile here is handy but if they could get the pm's sorted out we would be flying, but on the other side the forums are busy, but at times a hostile cranky place.

So its win and loose and it will be what you want it to be and if you get lucky who knows what may be ahead.

Am not trying to cause offence here, but your inital post did mention another site, pointed out the problem was due to bad moderation ect.

So it is hardly surprising that people who fell foul there previously would comment.

If an ex mods from that site are here as members, it should not prevent fab members from free speech on your inital comment, unless it is a direct attack on them personaly.

I do not thonk anyone who posted here did that, IMO, my own comments are my reasons why one particular site failed, that being the one you drew attention to.
