"Cats for their affection .but dogs for their loyaly "

Id have had dogs for both, dogs are the best at sensing when you are ill or in a mood and try to comfort you with kisses and waggy tails and the likes.

Cats just spray shite all over me and hiss like little devil creatures with razors in their paws

I'd have always said dogs for loyalty. My parents though started feeding crazy wild kittens. My Dad fell recently out on the farm. My Mam probably wouldn't have known a thing for ages only for the crazy kittens screeching like lunatics sitting beside him. So I think all animals can be equally as loyal depending on their treatment

My family are doggie people. My uncle would be very well known in doggie circles. So it's dogs for Me.

Cats have their uses too however. Good for keeping rodents away from the dogs kennels.

Dogs are sound. Cats are bastards.

Dogs. You can trust a dog with your life and a dog will lay down it's own life for it's owner at a moment's notice.

I never trust a woman who is into cats. I've had two previous relationships with cat women (one was my ex wife) and both tried, or should I say did, screw me over when everything went south.

Cats just lay around the house and sponge off you and contribute nothing, much like their owners. Not a lot of time for the little mofos.

I was always a dog person, but I love cats too. As a professional dog groomer I know all the pros and cons with regards to dogs but I love em anyway. Studies show that people who own dogs are healthier and live longer than those who dont. Cats.... Not so much.

Only if you walk the dog regularly. The Harvard study could only assume that because these people are more active they may live longer. In an ideal world I'd have 2 dogs & 2 cats.

The reward to see a special needs child bond with a dog out weighs the downfalls
