The Lighthouse Cinema is showing a few films over the next 6 weeks that we grew up watching...

E.T., Willy Wonka, Karate Kid, Goonies, Indiana Jones trilogy, Close Encounters, Back to the Future, Stand by Me, Roger Rabbit, Labyrinth.

I'm gonna drag mine to a few.

Nearby

My kids love the origional Willie Wonka

I have Indiana Jones box set, Goonies and Stand By Me on DVD here.

They've watched (a few times) and loved everyone of them.

The only thing they refuse to watch are the old musicals Sound Of Music etc. People start to sing and they walk out

Why would you teach them to hate anything? Just try & teach them to like some things more than others.

City

If I have a girl Princess Mononoke, to show her that girls can be wild and brave and fight for what they believe in.

If I have a son, Princess Mononoke, to show him that boys can be brave and strong and do the right thing.

If I have a girl, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. To show her that sometimes just existing in peace is something you have to fight for.

If I have a boy, laputa castle in the sky, to show him that kindness is its own reward and you end up richer being kind to people than chasing money.

Although you never know what way someone else will view something.
