I have a great friend at home, a vanilla friend!! He knows everything about me, he knows every inch of me.... I mean EVERY inch lol!!! the only thing he doesn't know about me is that I'm on Fab!!

He has been a great friend to me, known me since I was 20, we went out together for a few months but we've always have this fantastic chemistry between us in all these years to date!!!

He's watched me grow up, been a shoulder for me to cry on! I don't know what I would have done without him, he's given me the best of support, just love him to bits for that!!!

Who has a friend like that, that you could turn to & trust more than anything! It can be a vanilla friend or somebody from Fab!!

Just interested to hear peoples viewpoints on who you consider a friend & why!?

Two friends.

One that I grew up with, over the years we have spent huve chunks of time living in different Countries ect.

Yet we managed to maintain our bond that will never be broken.

Second friend was made a few years ago, proving that very often fantastic people enter our lives at any stage.

Ooh, this is going to get complicated....Trust has to be one of the major attributes a good friend must have. Trust that you can tell them anything & they will give you good advice, even if it's not what you want to hear.

I have a great group of friends...

Used to be able to confide in one or two but now they tend to gossip, and things became public so I keep my secrets to myself

Have a fab friend that knows me better than I know myself and I have a good friend who knows I'm on this site doesn't like the idea herself but doesn't judge me for my decisions. They're the only people who I'd share things with

"I've a best friend who was practically family, we told each other everything but I went to college, they had a child and we sorta drifted apart "

That happens too unfortunately! Some of my friends got married, had kids etc, they have no interest in single friends so we drifted apart!

One of my friends dumped me so to speak because I didn't want a serious relationship with him! He ended it via a text after 10 years, I miss that friend!

Now, we barely acknowledge each other if we met on the street or the local supermarket, it's a pity because we did have a great friendship when we were friends!

Some lovely and some tearful stories there.

I never ended up with quite a best friend. People I confide bits in but I never feel open enough to talk about everything. I really think I am missiout after reading the OPs post.

Have several friends that have stood by one another over the decades. We share stuff that families would not get to know. We've even become closer though been God parents for the children and caretakers of wills should one of us kick the bucket.

I've know this fella since my first day of primary school, by the time we got into secondary people were calling us inseperable twins to the point they thought we were gay, but we barely see each other now because we both started working full time but we see each other during the weekend
