Sadly it's hard to see how we'll get back in the top four even with all the good business so far, Manu Citeh and Chelsea are all prepared to spend big and Arsenal getting a few quality names.

Liverpool fan myself but the signings this pre season. Hopefully they perform. Top 4 looks tough tho as United, cited, arsenal and Chelsea all look more solid. Hard to pick a winner out of those four. United have made solid signings but still playing catch up and still need a strong centre half, striker and to replace DeGea. Has John Terry got another season in him, if he doesn't that might be Chelsea's downfall. Don't think City are making the right moves..think I've talked myself into making it between United and Chelsea..

Top four for me

Man Utd

Chelsea

Man city

Arsenal

I am an avid United fan been a season ticket holder for 4years now. I believe LVG will lead us to the top this year. To take us back in top four last year was an achievement in itself. Although I think Chelsea will be our main rivals this year. Liverpool I honestly think will struggle to make top 7. No real big signings and people going out the door that made that team what it was. Man Utd biggest problem is that we need at least one more out and out striker before the transfer window closes. If Rooney is injured we have no other out and out mature senior striker to replace which then means reshuffling of the midfield and relying heavily on wingers taking away our match rhythm.

Rooney will get ye 25+ once kept up top and injury free. Ye got top 4 last year with a shite defence and to be fair Rooney played most the season in midfield. I'd be worried about United this season.

Had a half decent backline back then tho,and the bones of a treble winning team,we haven't got that now, went thru about 10 keepers till will got van der sar, we have the same crap defence as last yr and without de gea last season we would of ended up with a lot less points...

Van gaal will get it right n leave utd in a very healthy position for pepe guardiola or giggs to take over in August 2017.
