So Live Aid was 30 years ago yesterday. Can still remember it clearly.. What were you doing that day?

Got arrested in Ibiza for disturbing the peace and was sent home early,, live aid was on the day I arrived home to the look of horror on my mother's face

We got our first video recorder that week and recorded the concert some amount of tapes...memories think ghostbusters and Madonna were big at the time too funny what ya remember

Malahide & Waterford

Trying to make sure we watched the whole lot and ensure it was recorded. Even though we never really watched any of the tapes afterwards and they too raided into history.

At that time I was living just down the road from Wembley and could hear the concert from outside the house....30YEARS were has the time gone

I think it had it's place in history, Queen stole the show for me. I got the DVD a few years ago as a present & I don't remember watching any of it...not much seems to have changed regarding the "3rd world" either...

On another note, if you're expecting the Coastguard helo, it's just left now.

Remember it well!! Was working that morning then home to watch it for the day. If I remember correctly. DireStraits, U2 and Queen one after another, what an amazing hour that was.

I was en route to Germany that day..Cork Dublin Düsseldorf ..remember watching bits of it in each of the airports. Even as a young fella I knew I was watching something fairly special. One of the good things our generation has done Id say...
