So as most of us know, In the book 50 shades Ana is a virgin when she meets Christian, and it's my opinion that he'd be a horrible "first" for anyone.

It got me thinking though. what would you do if you were in a similar situation? Say you met someone, and there's 5 or 6 years age difference, and they confess that they're a virgin. Most of us here are very experienced sexually, what would you do? would you take them by the hand and usher them into a new world of sexuality? Would you not want that pressure?

The more I thought about it, the more i realised that it's never been a better time to start having sex, if you never have before. It's never been more tolerant, experimentation is encouraged (just look at the site we're on!)

Think back to the time when you lost your virginity you were probably a teenager, with someone of similar age and experience. It probably wasnt great.

If I were in a situation where i met someone in their 30's say and they confessed to being a virgin, I'd be both terrified and excited. I'd be eager to make their first time as amazing as possible for them, but i'd understand the pressure it would put on me.

Lets have as many serious replies as possible. I'm interested to hear peoples opinions on this.

Well thankfully the guy i lost mine to was also a virgin so we were both really nervous and awkward lol

but we both took our time and agreed that if either of us wanted to stop we would stop

These days i think there is alot of pressure on virgins to have sex and most get "forced or guilted" into doing it

To be honest I would probably tell him to move along, I'm very submissive sexually and having to essentially show him how it's done would be a huge turn off for me. I know I know it's harsh and so mean of me but I'm not a charity. Yes it is one sided and possibly because the guys remember how inexperience they were when having sex for the first time, and want to make up for it giving the chance if having a virgin again and women are greedy always wantng the best pleasurable experience.

You say "there's always next time" to me that suggests there will be a next time. If I was to meet someone sex is a big part of a relationship for me. I don't think I'd be comfortable taking someone's virginity if it was meaningless for me and then I wouldn't be able to be in a relationship with someone who was very inexperienced. So therefor no. I wouldn't be willing to take someone's virginity.
