Due to the artists getting older and doing the same old same old it did suffer a little bit of a downturn but with the younger artists appearing on the scene, the likes of Nathan Carter, Derek Ryan, Lisa McHugh, Mick Flavin etc etc and writing their own material the Irish/country scene is as strong if not stronger than ever. The venues are filled to capacity and peopla are travelling far and wide to hear our local talent including from England, Scotland and Wales. | |||
