Killarney festival cancelled

So Killarney festival has been cancelled.

Poor ticket sales to blame.

They expected somewhere in the region of 36000 and didn't even sell 5000.

Very disappointing for everyone who did by tickets.

I don't suppose we'll ever get a chance to see a line up like that again.

There was actually a great line up ! I'd certainly have been interested in seeing some of those acts but I honestly only heard of it yesterday ! There was nothing on the radio or papers to advertise it. It's a shame that it's not going ahead

Yeah. I reckon poor advertising and high ticket prices were to blame.

Damn shame.

The INEC are trying to hold sum of the acts over the weekend but they wll be selling tickets for it seperately , it will be of a smaller scale thou

Failing that they could hire the function room of a local bar and stick 20 chairs in there for us
