So Chris Evans hasn't started on Top Gear yet,but can he make it as successful as it was...

Am on the fence as to whether he was the right candidate for the job

There was really only Evans or possibly jay Kay that could do it. There are no bigger petrolheads in the UK that the BBC could use. And jay Kay is a bit of a loose cannon so Evans was the obvious choice

Love Evans, for me he's more of the dogs bollox where as Clarkson is more of a pompous prick. Clarkson is making his own show with May and Hammond so all is not lost for their fans. Can't wait for more TFI too.

I dont like chris evans, but dont like clarkson either.

I think anyone who watches the new show clarkson will be doing on netflix is a scumbag though. He got sacked for bullying and assault after running out all his chances by being racist and belligerent.

If people watch his new show, its like looking at a kid being bullied and doing nothing.

Don't know why people even watched it. They were openly biased against cars on the show that they gave good reviews to in their newspaper articles. It's about demographics, its aimed at the lowest common denominator, the chav of england.

All the bristh bull dog, grrr, anti france, nonsense. he speaks fluent french, holidays in france, knows all the football players names etc etc.

Top gear was due a major overhaul the format was getting old most ppl only watched for the specials. I for one dont think Clarkson was that special anyone with half a brain could do his job. Hopefully with the new presenter will come a format shakeup then they might retain viewers.

I was sad to hear Clarkson leave top gear.he can be rude and ignorant towards others by times ombut isn't that what makes good tv viewing.

plus he was a fan of the vw golf.my fav car.hot hotback as he called it.

taught the snow plough on the class dominator was the best ever .

I was done watching Topgear as far as I,m concerned it was same old,

same old for a long time hope Evans breaths new life in the franchise
