Hey guys.. been on here a while and am well verified.. I'm setting this post up for people who would like to get verified who are having trouble doing so.. that includes guys. .I would happily go for a pint with you because I know lots of fellas moan that they can't get verified.. This meet will be a non sexual meet ..

This is where the meaning of "verification" gets a bit blurry - I understood it to mean that you were "verifying" that the person was real and therefore the account was not fake.

I have seen verifications handed out to people who met via webcam/skype

So what would be "safer" then? Meeting somebody in a public place to verify that they are at least human or arranging a meet somewhere out of the public eye?

I'm not starting a right or wrong discussion here, just trying to clarify what a verification actually is.

There's some very well known people on here that Skype and use webcam.

That doesn't make them any different to the rest of us.

I agree - I'm not verified and I have some friends on here who are also not verified and we were sort of wondering what exactly we need to do as it seems there is a different answer any time the subject comes up one of my friends is happy to use skype or whatever but his wife simply refuses (she also refuses to do a verification photo leading to all sorts of problems but I understand why she does not want to do that as she is very well known and you know what the press are like!)

I don't see any verification been proof that they are safe to meet.

A verify proves that the person is the gender they state on their profile and they showed up when a meet was arranged.

Let's be honest there are a lot of verified people I wouldn't meet or trust due to their vicious tongue and behaviour in the forums, now that's a safe bet!!!!

Fair play Op, I too have done this, arrange a general meeting to verify those who can't get people to meet them. It's a nice thing to do.

I fail to see what the press has to do with a photo verification that an admin will see?

.

It's a whole lot more likely that a meet would go to the press than the admin on the site who, I imagine, want to maintain the integrity of the site as much as possible in order to keep their name as a good site and keep their users happy.

As for the social/coffee/webcam verifications: yes they proof that a person is genuine however a gentleman in public might not be a gentleman behind doors.

However I completely agree with kinkyholly verifications no matter what kind are not a guarantee for a safe meet!

Thanks for the reply guys.. aprreaciate it.. I am of the opinion that ANY meet is not safe from a website wether it's pan pals. . Dating site.. singers site etc .. However on joining this at first everyone was sceptical.. I just think there are more genuine MEN on here than not.. when the ration of men to women is 1000-1 men have to be giving some sort of chance

Fuck gettin the ride man ha ... its about having a laugh and branching out ... y not get to know each other wats wrong with making new buds like ... few drinks and all ... the reason i deleted FB was cause people start turning weird only speaking to you on FB and avoiding you on the street .. its silly . Were all on here for same reason obiously but we dont all have same path in mind of getting there so it be good crack ...
