Naas

How many of you work unsociable hours and days.

How do you plan your social life around working?

I work nights and its tough ! Nights are ruled out and days are spent sleeping and we have kids so it takes a lot of planning for fun

I get two/three days notice of my work roster for the following week. Days and hours change weekly so unless it's prebooked can never guarantee when I'm off. Makes getting to events etc hard but can still plan around it somewhat

I used to work crazy hours and different days too so didn't know one day to the next when I was off. It played he'll with some fun times and with my family. So when redundancy was offered I took it. I did it for 13 years. The only way I could do a meet was book holidays.

I work shifts.... social life? What social life?

My shift can really have a bad affect on my social life and also my energy levels. I'm trying my best to keep in touch with my friends and meet them when I can.

Shift work is a bastard! Some of my shifts are weekend nights so it really fucks with my social life at times

I don't work shift but juggle 4 jobs ATM, 2 in my "spare" time at home, so no time at all for meets! And having moved so far from Dublin too makes it all the harder!

I work 9 to 5, Monday to Friday so I've plenty of time of time for meets, both spur of the moment and pre planned meets.

The women are always greatful for my availability. They always enjoy themselves.
