As the dude CJ took it upon himself to use up the rest of the posts (obviously he didn't like my observations). I thought I'd open this thread for anyone else who had an opinion.

Another case of, if the regulars don't like a newbies opinion they are controlled!!!!

"Newbie my arse

u posted to cause a reaction and again u have done the same

Yes I am disappointed in my self for taking part in ur sneaky little experiment as u call it to me it was more an excerise to make fun of others not in a nice way which says more about you than those that participated

Stinks of the pink lady threads "

My god, just read the other thread. God forbid people enjoy the positivity and the chance to boost another person, and be nice to another human being

The reason those threads do well is because the majority of gannets aren't bad minded fuckers who constantly want to argue and post controversial threads

And this points out exactly why newbies have a hard time on the forums, coz regular forums users are weary of newbies who are here two wks and seem to have to lay of the land, clearly not new and clearly carry a grudge - it actually people who masquerade as newbies who ruin the site for genuine newbies

Good gawd that's some predictive text you have on your phone,it gave me a great chuckle when I read it.

I looked up gannets on wiki because I couldn't remember the wingspan and look what the first line came up as..."Gannets are seabirds comprising the genus Morus, in the family Sulidae, closely related to boobies." Boobies.

Honestly sounds like people have to much time on their hands newbies on 2 weeks and they think they have the lay of the land wtf like ?That sounds like something out of the sixties get on with it people for some it seems their life revolves around this site judging by some of the comments like once people start getting really involved in fab they suddenly get up on a high horse remember you started as a beginner too no need to be an ignorant cunt

I mean in terms of the distraction it seems to be. I got a verification within 2 weeks of joining. Would have been sooner but it took a week to agree agrees suitable time. I wasn't hung up on getting it though for the first 2 weeks.

Depends on the outlook. I dont engage with most non verified profiles especially pictureless ones. Youd need a full time secretary to entertain everyone.

So all the analysis comes from the regulars from what we can see.

The newbies are all sitting scared to comment in case it doesn't wash well with the regulars..

Heaven forbid a newbie has a different outlook on the antics on the forums,if a new profile comes along an dares to have an opinion that goes against forum protocol or how things are done around here according to the regulars, they get shot down an accused of been an ex member returning, who has an axe to grind!

Apologies if we have upset the applecart but obviously there's some members who don't want change cos the place is just so exciting as it is!!!

We will keep our Lil experiments to ourselves in future but we won't delete our profile like a lot of other newbies recently.

We joined here for a good time not to be bullied!!

Ps thanks for the philosophy candystore lesson the place would be lost without you

Okay you want a reply from a newbie ???

I have been a swinger for many years, in all my time on numerous sites this tops the most ridiculous thread ever opened...

With all due respect your comments here and on the other thread are condesending and serve only to make you look foolish.

People open threads, they often get hijacked, a sensible OP draws attention to this minus the dramatics..

Your comments re newbies being ignored, being accused of having an axe to grind ect could have been dealt with in a more adult fashion.

Yes this obviously happens, yes all sites have forums often dominated by regulars, but other people are capable of simply not caring..

People who will join in , post when and where they so wish and not give a damn if others ignore them.

Sorry if my comments offend but you did ask for newbies opinions..

"Haven't heard that term clique being used in ages, i wonder why "

perhaps most have just given up trying to highlight it as the fallout is not worth it.

The OP makes some interesting observations. You may agree or disagree but nevertheless they are the observations of a member, who is as entitled to post it and expect respectful answers as those that post about sports, concerts and breakfasts on a swing site do.
