Loads of trolls on here.. I feel it's better to chat/meet people who use the forums/chatrooms as they seem to be genuine.. Far far to many time wasters for my liking too.. But as I use the site more and more it's getting easier to spot the trolls.

It's what you make of it at the end of the day.

As previously stated above words can be misinterpreted and people assume the worst which is not necessarily the case! Sometimes the grammar lets us all down and we give off an opinion we don't intend. Stop, think and try think of the possibility of a positive within the message.

Having said that, there are indeed trolls out there. I know a woman on another site whose behaviour is downright out of line and I think she gets off insulting people better than sex.

Oh and before anyone asks, I did not shag her, but I think not many do either!

'Absolutely no effort'

I don't think you, or the other authors of similar threads realise how many one line texts we get from single guys...despite our profile saying we are looking for couples...

We have many great friends who are single guys, so we don't use that filter. And enjoy their witty repartee.

My suggestion, and I hope you take it in the spirit it is meant...is to read the other person whose profile you are trying to engage with first, and try to write something that responds to their desires...

Make it light hearted...
