What we need is a two election rule... A politician only gets two terms in a government seat to prove themselves and their parties worth... That should stop the default in some areas where seats are held for generations by the same family regardless of their ability to work for the communities they represent

iv not been to a church outside of the usual baptism, communion, wedding or funeral so i wouldn't have a clue.

but i can see labour taking a serious battering and FG being out of power for a few elections the same as what happened after the "rainbow coalition" in the late 90's

Much and all as i hate the bollox there was some truth to it . Of course the majority of unemployed would prefer to work but there will always be an element of society that will leech off the state and be suitably unemployed. ..

T here.

Sinn Fein is the best way forward.

Forget the past. Try to put the mud slinging propaganda behind you.

FG, FF and labour have all had a chance and screwed us all.

Are you gonna vote the same and expect different? Same shite for decades...

It's time for change.

There's an element of truth in it all right but what happened to their promise to end cronyism jobs for the boys et al.

How can you vote for a party whose leader failed to report sexual crimes against children, the most heinous of crimes, to the authorities?

That wasn't mud slinging by the media. It was disgraceful and disgusting.

iv said it before what we really need is to have a credible center left party. labour lost there credibility years ago as did the greens. the socialist party and the socialist workers party are just anti everything. SF do great work at local government levels but would I want them running the country ? probably not. having to many independents would mean nothing would get done as there would be to many people trying to look after there local area ( heely rea is a prime example).

The joy of democracy is that if enough people think he should go, he'll get that message in the next election. As it stands, a huge number of people voted for his party, and this government has the largest majority we've seen in years.

.

Top tip.. Vote for someone else next time

To be honest I'm sorry I actually replied here.

We should leave politics out of our way of life. RE: Fabs.

No need to cause rifts between couples and singles, members all round.

We all have our opinions with political parties.

Politics causes problems.

Over and out from me here

But but but.. Politics is life! It affects us all, whether we knowingly participate or not. If people people can't discuss such matters without falling out then politics is not the problem, it's their own attitude.
