So having a bit of a crisis in the real world with my mother. She found some stuff that no mother should probably find.. wands, butt plugs, spanking paddles etc and has totally flown off the way about it. "Its not normal. Its not healthy. Its dirty. Im a slut.its not the way i was brought up Etc"

This happened to anyone i really dont know what to do..

im lucky that if i ever made the front pages of the papers my mother wouldn't be shocked at all i set the bar pretty high when i was a teenager with my shenanigans. i think finding sex paraphernalia would have been the least of her worries when i was younger

I remember my mother finding the pill one time years ago and I nearly got killed. It's a terrible feeling to feel ya've disappointed them but then on the other hand not knowing what for.

She 'found' some stuff? What was she doing when she found it? Presumably it was in your own room, your own private space, where she really shouldn't have been looking. It's not really her business, you're an adult, and you might think about turning the tables on her a little and asking her why she was in your room in the first place. I have a daughter around your age, and when she left home I knew I couldn't let myself get worried about stuff I have no control over, and we both left it at that. Of course, she thinks her antics could shock me

tell her to respectfully mind her own business , your an adult and as such your sex life is of no concern to your mother . She has just had a shock to find that her daughter is a sexual person , thats all . I would not get into any discussion with her about the paraphenalia she has found , however I would make sure that in future any items you have are not left lying around for her to comment on .
