Hi everyone, just wondering why so many people (especially men) have verifications but yet don't show them. From past experience I know how difficult it is to get verified, but I don't see the sense in hiding the details either. I do know that when a user who verified someone leaves the verification stands but the information vanishes, but everyone can't be verified by someone who's since left fab. Any thoughts?

Private meetings are totally acceptable and your business is your own, but no mention of date, or by male or female, or how verification took place. That's kinda the point I'm trying to make.

Totally agree that your meets are your own business, but I think verifications that appear on couples pages are pretty much looked at as totally genuine. Shown or not

But a lot of emphasises is put on honesty here, and the number of fake profiles online. There are so many little green ticks with no information of any kind

To steal a quote for the incredibles. If everyone is verified, no one is.

Don't display them cos it's nobody's business what I'm up to.

Last week a guy contacted me for a meet, he described himself as straight on his profile and had verifications but wasn't showing them. After some discussion on this it turns out that his verifications were from TVs and he thought that this would reduce his chances of getting a meet with a woman hence he hid them.

A lot of "straight" guys do that. They will be judged for meeting a tv/ts or another guy.

We don't show ours. We don't feel its anyone's business who verified us and how. We see verification as for us and us only. If you want to show yours go hell for leather. At the end of the day its down to you and its your choice

The idea of the original post was not to question or investigate the going on or coming off at meets. What happens in vegas should stay in vegas after all.

The point I was simply trying to make was that with so many fake users and trolls using this site and ones like it, simply showing an unproved green tick nearly doesn't seem enough.

There was and no doubt is still incidents when people have their pics stolen and shared on social media.

I am a straight man, and I have a couples profile along with my partner. We're called finding nemo 2. We were looking for a straight male to join us as my partner has a specific fantasy she wants to play out. As a responsible partner in would like to ensure that anyone I contact is genuine, but with just a green tick here don't necessarily believe that they are genuine. It's very easy to get a cam verification, then set up a profile or multiple profiles. That's the point of the original post. When I joined fab previously last year there were hardly any verified single males in donegal. Now there are so many, but the majority just show a green tick. No evidence where or when or how it came about. I don't want to know sordid details of conquests. I just want to know that if someone contacts me I don't have to waste time trying to second guess them before I even start.

Hope this clears up the point I'm trying to make.

exactly I've had one guy constantly message me telling me he was verified on cam turned out it was from another guy after a bit of digging it's from the same guy he had 2 profiles lol , no thanks

This is kind of the point I'm trying to get across. I've been contacted in the past few days by people and all verified and absolutely no evidence to back it up. I've also has a few displaying verifications, and when I checked them out the profiles were all hidden!!!

Just seems odd in some cases

I don't doubt every single person with a green tick, but when single males in general get such a hard time, I thought some would try harder to prove the point.
