Manners ?

Are manners something you don't need on fab ? I've sent mails to fabbers who fit my profile .. Message is read and deleted .. No reply ! Is it not mannerly to at least reply and say " thanks for the message but not interested " ... I reply to every message ... It's simple ! It takes 15 seconds ! Maybe I should be happy that girls that's reply ... actually don't !!

Well the amount of mails single females and couples get on a daily basis, it's not rude for them not to reply as sometimes a bulk delete is the only option, you have to make an impression in the first mail

Must admit there is effort but into every mail ! But even if there isn't .. Wouldn't a simple " no thanks " be more appropriate ? Girls in particular demand respect on here but I really think they are the ones that deliver the least ! #practicewhatyoupreach

Maybe some people see that you're now single but still use a cpl profile, that helps to get around their filters so they just delete?

Genuinely it's a time/circumstances thing for me, I could read a mail and be checking out the profile and someone could distract me in real life for example, and I forget to get back cos next time I log in I could have 20/30 New mails and that other one is pushed to the bottom.

But volume is the biggest problem, I've currently 98 unread mails and I'm not going back to read them, no way I'd have the time! So they will be bulk deleted unfortunately, even though the best shag of my life could be among them, I'll never know...

Continuing to take advantage of a couples profile sends a signal to most rightly or wrongly about your bona fides. I know we see it as a method to bypass filters and fish in a pond you are not invited to and therefore would warrant deletion. even at that a single guy should hold no expectations of a response. we have noted when we so send a turning down response we get one of two responses....

A... We don't know what we are missing out on....

We only get a handful of messages, but then our profiles are written as clearly as possible, to deter what we're not looking for...however we'll chat to anyone, but typically if we're polite and not blunt, the messages start of chatty...then suggestive....then pushy...then abusive. I totally understand people just deleting messages from people obviously not of interest, seems harsh, but often cruel to be kind. Etc.

I agree with u. I have never sent a "fuck u" message or a "hi" message. I always check there profile first to make sure there into my type..

I don't have a problem with anyone rejecting me..

If someone sends u a proper message it's common courtesy to reply.

We try to answer most polite structured mails even if they dont fit our requirements. Sometimes when u get mail after mail from different people saying the same thing and obviously not reading OUR profile and OUR wants then it can get very annoying and we can delete without answering so sadly its a case of bad timing for some. One bit of advice we would give is if a couple or woman have gone to the bother of writing a detailed profile please please read it and decide then if u match it. By doing that you may save urself and the person/cpl time and effort. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply ... But just to make myself clear .. I'm not a newbie here ! I've meet girls from fab .. Currently meeting a girl from here so I know exactly how all this works ! My only question was a one of manners ! I only message girls that fit my profile exactly !

What ive found, a lot, is that you politely say no thank you to a guy, but they persist, saying 'well ok sure lets chat and see where it goes,maybe I can change your mind', trust me after a shit load of those kind of mails you do become quite intolerant. I don't answer every single mail but I try to be as polite as I can, as you know. As said before sometimes it's just about sheer numbers, too time consuming to read and reply to all.

I know that,but if I get a mail I read the profile if it's something I like I reply if not it's just no thanks...mabye there's nothing standing out in your profile that's interesting that's all...

possibly but when I look at a profile I like to see someone well verified and a couple of public pics .. Which I have both of .. Tbh I'm not trying that hard to meet someone new atm but when I do make a effort with mailing someone new .. Sometimes a reply would be appreciated ..

Nope it's not rude. You aren't emailing a business you are emailing a person about a private part of their lives and if they ignore it than that's their call bit they don't owe anyone anything. The site even suggests it is a ground rule of the site; if you don't get a reply don't bombard that person they probably aren't interested. That said a response would be nice but who likes reading a rejection mail maybe gals think silence is the lesser evil.

Copy/paste messages are easy to spot.

I will reply with a not interested type message and almost always get a thanks for reply.

I never get abuse. Maybe I'm lucky or maybe it's how I say no thanks.

I think guys appreciate that you have taken the time to say " no thanks " ! Also I'm pretty sure it would be unusual for a guy to get abusive after politely being told no ...

What ive found, a lot, is that you politely say no thank you to a guy, but they persist, saying 'well ok sure lets chat and see where it goes,maybe I can change your mind', trust me after a shit load of those kind of mails you do become quite intolerant. I don't answer every single mail but I try to be as polite as I can, as you know. As said before sometimes it's just about sheer numbers, too time consuming to read and reply to all. Again I completley understand but when someone with the amount of mail you get can reply and show respect to who mailed you I think it says a lot more about you as a person ! In fairness Red you are one of the special ones and it's a pity there isn't more like you "
