Hi all we rarely post... We are now a year here and while we have chatted and met some wonderful people we have also noticed that over the 12 months there seems to be an increasing lack of basic respect and 'normality' here Just wondered do people agree and are normal real people hiding or leaving.

maybe thats where we are going wrong that we do most of our communication with people on here and phone etc before we meet and dont have time with kids work etc to get away to socials.

yes thats def an observation for us.... we find ourselves having to use the block button more over the last year because of lack of basic human respect. And we tend to give most the benefit of the doubt ...dont get us wrong we dont expect to make friends for life with every meet or anything lol we appreciate we may not be others cup of tea either lol

I have just joined Fab 2 weeks ago and I am having a blast. I was on another site a few years back and I had lots of fun with cool, sexy people there, but Fab is by far a better experience. A lot more open and friendly people here (maybe because there are more people swinging in Ireland than before)

Going to my first fab social next week. I will have a far better feel for the site then. First impressions though, good, very good. Will I feel the same in 12 months time??? I sure hope so.

Gotten better for me.

but people have always been afraid to have an opinion on here, to say whats on their mind. Maybe its because there are more parties and people are afraid of losing their invites, maybe people gossip instead of talk openly to someone cause they are afraid of upsetting the few that organise stuff.

Its been great for me though, gets better all the time.

Ive had a great 12 months here. Yeah the odd idiot irritating me but In general great. Went to first social, met a great guy im now dating and we have lots of fab shenanigans in the pipeline. Happy days

There's a difference between complaining and voicing an opinion its the op view it has changed from when they first joined. Which it has and will continue to do so as long as we have new members joining vairty is after all the spice of life,has in being a change for the better I think so my first year there was four or five socials a year now there is that a month which people orginise play dates around,however if u can't for what ever reason attend these I'd imagine getting dates could have suffered

Yes its definitely getting better n better here!! The odd freak whom I just block n delete n move on

but in general everyone here is nice, I like to form my own opinion though and I like to stand out a bit from the crowd lol

I think it's important that we all do that and as Cj said there's a huge difference in people moaning n complaining and just having an opinion on something

I've been lucky to meet so many nice people here including a guy whom I'm now seeing and we're having lots of fun

I've learned a lot in the last 12 months. People who claim to be friends simply aren't And have shown their true colour. I have made some wonderful friends in unexpected ways! There's been some pretty awful stuff happen on here over the last year tbh but certain people make it worth sticking around for....the cream always rises to the top

I met a good few people here before but never for coffee. It was usually chat on here for a while, then talk by phone,and if there was a connection meet for sex.. It always worked out well that way for me..

I would have to agree with yous on the respect aspect as some NOT all feel because your on here and are swingers that your desperate and will fuck anything with a pulse we get this from couples and singles. For us its as much about the social aspect as the sexual side of things so there has to be respect as in any walk of life

yes my house their house or hotel,

sometimes not straight to bed..something have a drink or in some cases both of us have got pissed.

what happens if their not what I expected you ask.... its doesn't matter because. I tell myself before I go on a meet this is just a bit of fun and that I will give this my best shot no matter what, and make this as pleasurable for her and for me as I possibly can. I have had some great sex and some not great sex but overall every meet has had its good points, and great laugh. maybe I have just been lucky to not have met any stuck up cows.

When i was here first i never met for a drink and chat first, just meet at hotels, most times meets were not great, this time around i meet face to face, and i am very happy i do, have met wonderful people and made new friends i can meet regularly for fun

I had a very similar experience to an earlier poster

My first meet was meant to be a rather hot..strapping.. tall 48yr old silver fox

..turned out to be his dad

who was 5'4..seventy if a day and bald who told me I was naive to believe anyone was what they said they were or who their photos were off! Luckily I have met some amazing people and friends through here but the forum definitely has its share of those who just love to snipe at others. I just ignore them and chat to those I like and go to the socials. .best way to meet genuine people

A lot worse. ...it's like effin Facebook on here sometimes ...too many people up their own asses, so full of themselves....too many playing silly games.....of course there's plenty of down to earth, genuine people but they're getting hidden with all the shit profiles popping up daily...it''s like serious swingers are being frowned upon lol.....

Guys sorry as op we havent posted but thought it had died away. Interested to see its drawn so much attention and very interesting to see such a split. The code of conduct thing while a good idea .. is it pragmatic?? Who will manage it who will have a say in it. Etc etc. If the mods and site dont act on peoples valid reporting how can we expect a code of conduct to be followed. What we do hope from this is maybe people on both sides of the fence respect each others opinion and try not to judge ridicule or mock. Sometimes the loudest are the best sometime the more reserved are the passionate or vice versa. What is important is that we are all here for similiar reasons and its those distinct differences between us all that allows us to dream and push our pleasure limits. Happy continued fabbing and heres to our next 12 months here.

It's never going to be perfect right? If the people who are not enjoying it were able to change it so they did, another group of people would become unhappy with the way it changed.

It's not like you need fab to breathe is it? (Some may need to seek help if answered truthfully), if it's not working for you atm, hibernate for a while, go meet some non fabbers. You'll be back.

My thoughts on the code of conduct is that it is self policed. Maybe anyone interested could mention it in their profile and it should be easy enough from someones profile and verifications to see if they practice what they preach.

So Rule #2: Respects for others regardless of differing opinions or tastes...no abusive language

Suggested Rule #3: Show up as agreed or have the decency to cancel ASAP if something real comes up.

Part of rule 3 is make your mind up first and then commit to a meet or politely decline.
