I for one believe that if forum posts were to be moderated before they are allowed on the forum we would be saved from having to read a lot of cods wollope from all the keyboard warriors on here ... So fed up with the petty people on here trying to outdo each other

You would probably only believe that till one of your own posts got moderated. I'm not suggesting that you would deliberately offend anyone, but I know from helping to moderate another forum that the mods are only 'good' when they're not modding you.

Ahhh I know that but the amount of threads that go up these days that are deliberately taking the piss out of other members is awful ... They shouldn't be allowed near the forum's and whoever writes them should be kicked of them too

I have to agree im getting more put off everyday no matter what yea do to try and improve the forums someone is having ago or giving out i just give up not going to bother anymore tbh.

The trouble with posts that are having a go at someone is that unless you're 'in the know', they can be easily passed off as a joke. Just because you haven't seen something doesn't mean it wasn't there. For the record, I haven't seen anything either, but have had it happen to me elsewhere, and most people didn't even notice till I eventually complained.

I have to say if this is recent in the last little while I have not noticed.

A lot of threads posting about how bad the forums are.

Now I really thought it was picking up a little admittedly it has been bad.

And I've noticed that certain members don't post anymore .

I did a stint on moderating sites before and I can say there are a lot of good and bad in forum moderating. I agree a lot of posts will be investigated but its not going to make much difference, If people get banned they will just re register with new profiles or make up trolling profiles knowing they will be banned and have many back ups when they do. Its only profiles you can ban .... not people

The other thing then is if forums, threads are moderated will the site turn into a nanny state, who polices the police for example?

Best thing to do is just ignore all the keyboard warriors here, they know who they are, and just carry on posting away. Memebers here will figure out who they are and just ignore them or take whatever they post with a pinch of salt

They thrive on a reaction so when they dont get one they just look like fools themselves

Have to agree with u resently I replied to one of those posts because it seemed to be a generalisation after gaining my self a block and a few hrs being very peeved at the whole thing I decided its not worth rowing on here be a lot better if people would just deal with issues between them in private
