Tragic story assuming any of it is true.

In my opinion Alcohol + swimming pool = asking for trouble.

My town

Very sad indeed .

But alcohol and swimming pools can be dangerous .

But reading the thread the incident happened on a Friday night.

My town

The swimming pool was not allowed to be used Saturday after Friday nights terrible tragedy.

I'm not sure as a mark of respect I think I would of closed business for Saturday.

But than again I'm not involved from the business point of view.

That would be mine opinion.

I'm wondering do you think this would have made the news nationally if it wasn't swinger related.

Have had a guest die in an accident in hotel I worked in. It never made the news.

Business went on.

I think a guy on the thread in the lounge tried to make that point aswell, that its more "newsworthy" as he was a swinger and at a swing party.

It's a tragedy either way you look at it regardless of his sex life. Newspapers shouldn't exploit his death and over shadow it by honing in on this fact
