To all those non sleepers, what do you do to pass the time when you can't sleep?

Personally I catch up on TV shows and find new ones!

I work, and put a film on in the background, then pop on here now and then.

I tend to do housework how boring i know or else find makeup videos on youtube and then have a half assed attempt at recreating the look

I did that youtube thing earlier, recreated a 90s grunge look... Looked pretty good if I do say so myself!

I am useless at doing them but attempt them anyway just anything to pass the time really

I watched "Stretch" and I am gonna put on "The matrix".

I like to put on films I have already seen so I can do other things without it distracting me.

Having a cup of tea and chatting on fab....dont have a tv....and dont miss it either! And I'm useless at doing make- up lol so I use as little as possible which is none most of the time!

I just had two hours sleep so I'm having tea and a smoke... Might do some work soon...Or watch family guy....they should have better cartoons on at this hour...

"Define "other things" please!"

Well right now "other things" involves normalising a database to reduce redundancy and change the sql. It's boring so I am also browsing the forum as I read down through the data structure. I also have 2 or 3 other tabs open where I am browsing through stuff like entrants to the solar decathlon competition.

I like to browse tiny houses and green stuff like solar panels, or cool looking houses.

In another tab I have a fetish site open, and in another one I have googled tokyo love hotels because a friend sent me a message about a book I recommended them and we were talking about the rooms in some of the love hotels.

I guess it's not exciting.

Far more exciting than watching tele! Love hotels! Never heard of them. Interesting concept! Fab rooms!

I used to train at the gym or run when I couldn't sleep and I used to only sleep for three to four hours anyway. It was suggested that by just lying on my bed and relaxing allowed the body to rest although nothing is better than sleep. So I lay there for months listening to crap like whale song and forest soundtracks. Now two years later I go to bed at ten and sleep like a baby. No more insomnia. But I have got tubby cause I have no time to exercise lol.
