I've been on the forums a while and I think the funniest thing I've seen was mick answering to the poles in the cupboard.

The forums are what you make of them.

I find the forum brilliant. I chat to, and meet people I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Agree with some...

Forums are great for chatting to new people and knowing who to avoid... But the repetitive threads are getting irritating and hence why I and some others don't post as much maybe.

I think I might try the chatrooms for awhile

People won't post over fear of being bullied, ridiculed or lied about now.

I'm mainly sticking to talking to people in pm or off site. The UK forums are great craic too, much less bull shit

it wont die as long as the ten or fifteen forum junkies who seem to spend all there time on here are still around.

It would be nice if, when someone posts something interesting or serious that it would be dealt with, the seriousness it deserves. And not be hijacked by the few that constantly have the need to be heard to feed there habit.

The fun posts and the fuck me, kiss me posts have there place here.. so should the serious ones have there place.

I think more people would use the forums if the idiots didn't try shout them down at every opportunity. ....

I used to use and enjoy the forums a lot more, lots of the old funny forum posters are gone. They are used way to much now to get cheap digs at people.

But there'll always be the drama llamas and asholes on forums, I just ignore or block them now. Simples!

They have their ups and downs just seems like this is a longer down then before, as for hyjacks some of the funniest threads have grown from a hyjack but I don't think a really serious thread suffers from a hyjack. What really pisses me of is an infrequent poster accuses the fifteen or so regulars of hogging or feeding their egos

As the fine weather comes in people tend to start up other activities and they get quiet or in November people are busy with christmass so as the seasons change so do the fpurms. Have to agree with previous posters I seem to be logging onto chat a lot more presently

Granted I prefer the chat rooms as, in my humble opinion only, they are more relaxed and more spontaneous.

The forums can be good fun but, again only in my opinion, can be mostly either repetitive or attention seeking,

Fab is a broad church however and caters to all - and long may it continue to do so.

They should upgrade the forums...most standard forums today will alert you if somebody has quoted your last post, kind of like when u get message you will. This feature will increase the activity for sure

I bought a sun lamp so I can stay in and get the vitamin d. To be fair Irish sun does not create enough vitamin d, so I also take supplements of it too.

Also to be fair, i sit at a laptop a lot, so wish the sunlamp was built into the laptop screen.

someone mentioned earlier that people where afraid to post because some people jump on comments etc i think this last few mins on this thread prove that point well.

now i know and met cj , would class partymonsters as friends but im a little shocked at the way this has turned into a bickering match. yes she said a controversial thing but lets be honest its not like she called your mother names iv seen a lot worse said on other forums and no one reacted.

so im handing out snickers because i think people get snarky when they are hungry

Teaser posted an opinion which she is quiet entitled to do and I challenged that opinion as an assumption in no way was it an attack on her but on how she formed that opinion. Firstly as teaser her self stated she only recently found the fourms and yet could yell that people sit at a laptop all day craving attention by posting which is wrong in my opinion,as I travel from job to job I browse threads and comment or while having my coffee,lunch or tea. Secondly that a lot here don't meet so I don't show my veris and certainly don't veri every meet as most are repeats. As for the bull shit its every where only go into chat and u see the guys there baying for the attention of ladies on cam same as in here u see guys licking female ass its a fact of fab life. As for the Vitamin d I get loads of it doing job which contains loads of outside work. Why am I always logged in cause I use my phone and can't be bothered logging out

U see that's the beauty of the fourms its there in black and white to reread u posted what I took as a slight against prolific fourm posters as I would be considered one of those, yes I took it as an attack on a section of the coumunity which I consider myself to be in and not personal. U will also see that I didn't jump on the band wagon as I was the first to reply to ur post and from one straight talker to another I didn't fluff my words either. Have to agree with Redhott. There are some I really miss....used to be a nice mix of personalities - the funny posters, the serious posters, the caring posters, the inquisitive posters, the informative posters, the shoot you down in a flash posters and of course the hyjacking posters (I agree with CJ that some great fun came from some of them). I hope the forums are not dying as for me they are the life blood of fab.
