You should def take a trip up. Its a great little spot these days. Some nice bars, restaurants etc.

Midlandsgent is doing day tours I think lol

Socials were great craic. Hopefully there'll be more! The day tours are overrated the night tours are the business though

Used to go to a bar in athlone called "the hooker" no not that kind named after the boat and then across the road to a night club called banana club I think or was I dreaming. Some cracking waitresses in the Chinese alon the street from there

Yeah they was the hooker bar. Down by the castle besides seans bar. Lively spot there but piano bar the place to be now. Loads talent there

That's a long time ago CJ! It's called Gertie Brownes now. Still a nice little bar. Banana fish park was a restaurant across the road and Ginkels was the nite club (had a few names over the years!)
