Having signed players like Di Maria and Falcao they also would have made a lot back on what they spent on them through shirt sales and are one of only a few clubs that is in very good nick with FFP. They also signed the biggest manufacturing sponsorship deal in world football with Adidas that comes to a total of 750 million pound over 10 years,that works out to 75million pound a season,depending on them getting into the Champions League "Can wait to see Man Utd go bankrupt i highly doubt that

"Very few top class players will want to go to Utd if they dont get 4th. Rooney and RVP are on their last legs will cost 150 to replace those 2 alone. Lets not start on the defense. Slowly but surely if Utd dont creep 4th they are done as the best in Europe." Sort of true,but we know in this day and age that if you throw a very nice tempting wage packet to a top class player or one who's star is rising they'll occasionaly choose the club who's going to give them a better pay packet. Rooney is a player who still has a few years in him left and RVPs game was never based around his pace,I think he's mainly suffering from lack of confidence and the fact it might help if he made a few runs in behind defenders occasionally and the same could be said about Falcao. I don't think LVG will be looking to either replace Rooney anytime soon and if you play him in his proper position he's still capable of getting you 20 league goals a season,with RVP he has a year left to run on his contract and I expect him to see it out and then who knows what might happen,he'd still make a very good squad player and would give Utd depth in the striker department for when they go and buy a striker in the summer. There is a few quality strikers out there who would not cost more then 35 million at least if you are looking at a young up and coming star such as Lacazette from Lyon,Berahino of WBA who looks like he might be the real deal,Icardi from Inter,Huntelaar from Schalke who LVG knows very well and could do a good job for him,Cavani from PSG who is good,but is very hit and miss,Dybala,Jackson Martinez from Porto,could also sell Mata and bring in KD Bruyne who can play in the number 10 roll. Defensively Utd have I think the third best defence in the League will look into that,I know people will say it's only because of de Gea but that's his job,but it is a area of the team they definitely have to strengthen in,get rid of Smalling and Jones,bring in Hummels or Godin and have either beside Rojo,the left back spots are covered by Shaw,Blind,Blackett who's not to bad a defender,he can also play CB,Mc Nair has proven to be more then capable of holding his own and would be a good choice third centre back and Evans should be got rid off and have another CB brought in. At right back its gonna be interesting to see what happens there in the summer time LVG mustn't rate Rafael at all if he did Valencia wouldn't be stuck out there. In the midfield God knows what's gonna happen there,new wingers are needed and I think Nani will be given one final chance and there's talk of briniging in Depay from PSV,Januzaj will cover either wing and Young has improved very much this season. They've not been the best in Europe since 2008 and it'll take about 5 plus years to be again if LVG philosophy works out. | |||
