So having now put some pics up the traffic to my profile has increased ten fold (including the stupid messages! )! Lots of guys wanting to meet based on certain physical attributes!

So I'm wondering does what a person looks like mean nothing? Would most of you guys/girls meet 'blind' based on faceless body pics? And why?

I don't think I would. After all this site is based on physical attraction I'd have to be attracted to the person to meet.

I think your attention has increased because you have an attractive body, and people are just hoping or assuming that your face is also attractive.

Have to see a face picture first. I came across a page here that had face pics and a few verifications and a facebook page to boot with a lot of friends but turns out this weirdo made a lot of facebook profiles to show activity on "her" then just added loads of foreigner men. at first glance it looks legit but having mad "her" show me the verifications it was from bi men and i was able to see that these fake profiles, real and all as they looked would only communicate with each other every few weeks. A very well made fake profile online. So when meeting people i get them to send me a pic with a piece of paper with my name on it haha no way of faking that

I'm speaking about myself and ny views aren't to be reflected on what people do or say. I'm not always concerned about the looks because there more to a person to just what they look like. I love being social and not not all about the bed. I could be attracted to the person on different levels so appearances come second for me. But sure everyone has their own view and they have the right to be anyway they want.
