Seriously why do people even bother, organising a meet and then when ye try confirm it they just dont reply, its so annoying, its not easy for us to just up and go we have to organise it, am i wrong in thinking its just common courtesy to say they changed their minds or something came up?? What are yer rules on meets being cancelled etc?

If there is not a legitimate reason for cancelling I wouldn't give anyone a second chance

We tried ringing yesterday but. There was an excuse as to why they couldnt talk on phone , so we knew then it wasnt going to happen, our last message was read and deleted this morning. Just would prefer people would say out straight changed our minds etx

They aren't worth it so you'll find plenty of reliable people here "

Obviously they're not worth it but still a shitty thing to have happened especially when you're prepared (and that can mean host of different things)

Its harder for cpls to get away with kids and baby sitters to look after but its manners to say something has come up and we can't make it at least then they could offer an alternative date but it seems like u picked the wrong cpl. Write it down to experience and try again go to a social arrange around that then at least its not a total loss and u never know who u meet

Name calling, labeling, unwanted messages, deleting genuine messages etc........gives people permission to behave like this....

Lol...no one took a chance on us....we had to go through the rigmarole of going to a social meet. ..no one showed. ...their granny's pet spider died...etc....takes effort. ..90% attrition rate on site. ..the fakes come and go....

But in all fairness, most of the socials recently have specified that you have to be a verified member. It's a vicious circle. And what's to say that the OP hasn't had previous meets but they haven't been given veris - it does happen , and happened to me when I first started out here on another profile. Some people just don't like giving them.

I take notice of veries and would be way more inclined to meet well veried members and I've never been stood up or let down or fucked around by timewasters. Works for me

We did meet someone on.here but they wernt verified either and their profile is now gone, so couldnt get meet verfied by them, we took time out for awhile as we came across to many fakes, i did try getting us invited to two socials but was told on for obe we wernt what they were looking for and the other was we were.not verified

For me Im not much into veris if they have aleast 3/4 then it looks good. If im asked to give a veri ill do my best to give one but im more inclinced to veri based how we got on platoniclly rather that shoving every detail of sex out there for people to fixate on. Its really no ones business what happenens behind hotel room doors etc etc.

This thread is implying that respectful people meet and therefore well verified people are respectful.

That's simply not true. Many well verified people have little to no respect for themselves, their body, their health, or the people they will gladly meet.

A possible scenario:

A "straight" guy meets a trans/gay gi and barebacks them, he hides it and meets with a girl later who only meets straight guys, she sucks his dick an fucks him. Shes still horny meets up with another well verified guy and spends the day with him, them two finally call it a day and both go on the hunt for another meet later.

All well verified, but where is the respect?

Wasting someones time is a lack of respect, showing up is not a sign of respect, its a sign the other person is horny.

About 5 or 6 years ago I would get stood up a lot, and it was just simply because I didn't judge people enough, or get to know them properly. A few horny messages, a phone call, a meet planned, then stood up. Doing everything "right" does not guarantee a show.

I get less timewasters now, but i give less people a chance to waste my time.

We have encountered many time wasters on here and sad to say it is usually single guys! We have decided now that parties are the best way to meet and we are not meeting one to ones for the moment unless we know the peeps ,it is too unreliable and it takes a bit of organisation only to be disappointed. We will not meet unverified at all no way in fact we don't even answer their messages

That's good advice we got caught by a well known male on the forums who wasn't that well verified well some old ones but I actually think he is totally fake but of course you can't say that or u get barred. I have to say my instinct told me he was fake so from now on I follow my gut feeling entirely it is usually right

I agree, no doubt there are an absolutely massive amount of lads on fab only here for the titillating Fantasy (with a capital F) of swinging.

However, spare a thought for those of us who genuinely intend to arrange meets, and show. Those of us who see this site as the perfect outlet for their sexual desires as well as a school house for the world of sex in Ireland today.

Not everyone is lucky enough to be part of couple who share the same interests or freedoms, for a man here it aint always easy.

I am not judging anyone just talking about our experiences and to be perfectly honest we don't really join in the forums because we prefer to meet real people to see if they are genuine. A lot of what we see on the forums is bitchy and cruel and I have to be honest most hot single normal guys in my humble opinion should be out on the town tonite not on a forum mostly inhabited by couples!

If we organize a meet with a couple we organize a meet with that couple. We don't go out and make backup plans and get others hopes up.

If we're told ahead of time, even if we're already on the way there, we forgive and move on. What ever the reason life happens and yes cats do die! But if you get no contact..... not even a slipped and broke leg in the shower...

Read most of this thread ..took ages, but we all seem to agree that it comes down to having respect for other people and their private lives and the time they take out of it.my opinion is that veris simply show people , mostly, turn up...thats about all as anything that's written is just opinion and not experience, but pretty certain the longer you are here the less you get messed about
