I met an ex through my friends gf at the time they hooked us up at the time it seemed great looking back on it? probably was a bad idea

Guys I've met and would keep in touch with and chat to often ask me about newer people and I'd do the same so I don't see anything wrong with saying you think another person is really hot

So maybe the guys you've previously met think they have a better relationship with you than you do and were just looking for some friendly help
